In 1987, Dr. Sudhir Arora, a PhD scholar, decided to take on the challenge of setting up his own print-press business. With minimum funds available, minimum knowledge of the printing industry and no family business background, his entrepreneurial adventures were about to begin.

 In the initial years, VP was an all outsourcing business where-in all the production was outsourced from other printing presses with wedding cards, pamphlets, etc being the major products. Back then, Arora Ji (as our lovely clients like to call him) was the only employee of the company and his bike was the company’s first office. However, come 1989, Arora Ji sought a completely different customer base, the export houses of Agra. With the help of one of his school friends, he was able to bag-in an esteemed and growing export house of Agra. With a shift in the customer base, the product portfolio of VP also took a drastic change. VP which was involved in the printing of wedding cards, pamphlets, envelops and other standard printing materials, now shifted to the manufacturing labels and tags of high-end MNCs.

The idea of changing VP’s target market was not just limited to catering to a new segment of customers, but also developing the company to meet the high standards and compliances that are the requisites of international business. The new business strategy adapted just at the right time, brought in a lot of opportunities for VP as during this period only the country had opened its gates to the other nations for doing business with us. The country was seeing a boom in its exports and Vimal Printer’s quick adaption of international business ethics, compliances and quality deliverance started bringing in more and more export houses for their labelling requirements.

After 34 years of establishment, VP which was once involved only in job-works, is now a complete export grade labels and packaging material manufacturing business.  With utmost hard work of our staff, and Arora Ji’s dedication and loyalty towards the clients, Vimal Printers is today a 3000 sq. ft fully established facility including the best in-the-business professionals, pre-press, sheetfed offset printing, digital printing and screen printing to precision quality maintenance and packing, VP can churn out a good 45,000 – 50,000 labels production per day. This has enabled us to cater to a larger customer base, maintaining a diverse and expanding product portfolio with efficiency and quality deliverance.
